在家中陽台磁磚澎拱裂了一個洞後，每日越過這片裸露出樓板水泥的「洞」時，我不斷的思考著一個洞是否同時是平面、也同時是立體的問題──在澎起那刻，這片地面鼓起成凸球，接著碎裂成平面。我製作了完全吻合這個洞的瓷磚，與制式瓷磚不同的是，利用變形與透視，讓瓷磚鋪設回地面時，像是從中間拱起一樣，製造出浮凸的錯覺。並參考了中世紀的宇宙學說插圖，在其上以釉料繪製了眼睛、太陽、月亮、星辰的圖像。中世紀的人們，深信地球是宇宙的中心，萬事萬物都繞著自己而旋轉。觀察自己與世界的關係，從來都沒有正確的位置，永遠都只會站在相對的視角。這是一塊同時澎起也同時平坦的地面，上面濃縮著我凝視這個空間的視線。它代表著視角，描述關於如何觀看世界的問題。
After the tiles on the balcony at home arched and cracked, leaving a hole that exposed the cement floor below, I began to ponder whether a hole could be both a plane and a three-dimensional object at the same time. At the moment of arching, the surface bulged into a convex shape, then shattered into a flat plane. I created tiles that perfectly fit this hole. Unlike standard tiles, I utilized deformation and perspective to make the tiles appear as if they arched up from the middle when laid back on the ground, creating an illusion of convexity. Inspired by medieval cosmological illustrations, I painted images of eyes, the sun, the moon, and stars on them with glaze. People in the Middle Ages firmly believed that the Earth was the center of the universe and that everything revolved around them. Observing the relationship between oneself and the world has never had a correct position, as one always stands from a relative perspective. This is a piece of ground that is both bulging and flat at the same time, encapsulating my gaze upon this space. It represents perspective and addresses the question of how we view the world.
